A powerful and expressive fiddler, Andrea blends deep-rooted Cape Breton tradition with her own spirited style. She’s known for her driving rhythm, rich tone, and the kind of energy that fills a hall and gets feet moving. Off stage, she’s just as passionate about teaching, sharing, and keeping the music alive for the next generation.

One of the finest fiddlers from Canada’s East Coast, Troy MacGillivray brings an electrifying blend of traditional Cape Breton music, step dancing, and piano to the stage.
Originally from Lanark, Nova Scotia, Troy has dedicated more than 30 years to preserving and sharing Celtic music traditions. Raised in a family deeply rooted in Scottish heritage and Gaelic culture, he began performing as a step dancer at just six years old before quickly becoming known for his exceptional fiddle and piano talents. By age 13, he was already teaching at the renowned Gaelic College in St. Ann’s, Cape Breton.
In addition to a celebrated performing career, Troy holds a Master’s degree in Ethnomusicology from the University of Limerick in Ireland. His music has taken him around the world, earning numerous awards and accolades, including the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his contributions to Canadian culture.

Award-winning Cape Breton fiddler Wendy MacIsaac is internationally recognized for her powerful old-style Cape Breton fiddling, exceptional piano accompaniment, and captivating step dancing. Originally from Creignish, Cape Breton, Wendy has spent decades preserving and sharing the rich musical traditions of her island while building a celebrated career that has taken her to stages around the world.
A founding member of the acclaimed Celtic group Beòlach and a longtime collaborator with renowned singer Mary Jane Lamond, Wendy has also performed alongside many of the most respected names in Celtic music. Deeply rooted in the traditional Cape Breton style, her playing is known for its drive, rhythm, authenticity, and unmistakable energy.
In addition to performing, Wendy is a highly respected teacher and mentor who has inspired generations of musicians through workshops, festivals, and music programs across North America and beyond. Whether through fiddling, piano accompaniment, or step dancing, Wendy continues to play an important role in preserving and celebrating the living tradition of Cape Breton music.
